We are grateful, and thank you for all your support through the crazy holiday season! It was fun, hectic and again renewed my faith that "small stores" are a part of so many people's traditions and plans. If you were here battling the crowds we thank you for your patience and perseverence and hope you found something special for someone you love.
We are currently facing a tough battle here in Harvard Square - developer's plans will force the displacement of many treasured neighbors, so your support at this time is especially important. If you want to get more involved or let your opinions be heard feel free to join the movement at the next Cambridge Historical Commission meeting Thursday January 5th at 6 pm at the Central Square Senior Center.
Speaking of Central Square:
We will be folding origami for donations for the Cambridge Women's Center, 46 Pleasant Street for the months of January and February! Stop by and have a heart (for just a dollar donation) and support the work being done by this amazing organization. Check out their website at:
We also thank so many of you who donated to the Mayor's Fire Fund for those displaced by the huge fire in East Cambridge. With your help we donated a total of $285.00 to help our neighbors in need.
